Valley Bakehouse is a small family-owned and operated wholesale bakery situated in Launceston.
We provide delicious homestyle sweet and savoury handcrafted treats to businesses around Tasmania.
We care about the quality of our products and only use real ingredients, which means real eggs, real butter, real milk and real cream and where possible, use local products and produce.
Our wholesale customers include independent supermarkets and grocers, cafes, restaurants and hotels.
Orders are personally delivered in the Launceston area or via a local refrigerated freight company to further afield in the state.
history
Overseas travelling and working together doesn’t always work out for couples, especially in hospitality, but for us it did (there were a few close calls!). After coming home to Tassie and finding our feet again working in local restaurants and cafes, an opportunity presented itself to own our very own business.
We took over Watsons Fine Food in 2017. Over the past four years, we have added, reshaped and rejigged many of the products that the business started with and now with a move from West Tamar Road, Riverside to Margaret Street, Launceston, we decided it’s time for a new look!
